One design challenge for making this a Premium Locking model was that I knew that the client would need the ability to self-lock, and since the rigidity of the corset would prevent them from being able to reach down to secure the lower straps that would be part of a dual cover panel Premium Locking design, I had to rethink the whole concept.  What I devised was a completely detachable locking lacing system cover, complete with an inner pocket to stow the laces, and two sets of locking straps.  The upper sets would attach to lock pins mounted on the steel reinforced zipper cover flap, and the lower two had unattached locking roller buckles.  This was done in order that the client could set the lower straps first, then step into the cover, pulling it up over the knees and up over the lower part of the hobble corset, and then stowing the laces and securing the three top sets of straps, thus securing the entire assembly into one fully locked system.  The result was the largest, longest, heaviest, stiffest, most complex corset I have yet made - and a one of a kind corset for a very patient client who had to wait all summer for this to be completed.

A locking corset without locks?  Really?  Really!!

My newest Locking Corset design is the greatest leap yet in controlled tightlacing.  Completely smooth and undetectable as a locking item either under or outside clothing.  This is made possible by the use of my own unique and exclusive one-way zipper closures.  Only the keyholder who possesses the special gadget I provide (not shown - no peeking!) can undo the closures. 

Putting on and adjusting the LC3 is the same as any of my zipper closure corsets, only a special tool is used to close the zips.  Tighten the laces, tie your bow knot, fold and stow the laces in the elasticized pouch panel and close it up. Secure, locked, and seamlessly smooth.

My Premium Locking Corset design uses two interlocking steel reinforced panels to seamlessly close the lacing system and store the laces.   The laces are concealed in an internal storage pouch which is inaccessible when the panels are interlocked.  The twin waist belts are secured to a hard post or hasp (depending on the model) mounted in the zipper cover.   The steel reinforced heavy duty zipper cover conceals the front closure, which creates an integral locking system.  This completely hides both the front closure and the rear lacing system together and is easily secured with two padlocks in the front of the corset.
