My name is Fran Blanche, Owner and Designer of Contour Corsets.   I have been in love with corsets for over 20 years, and have also been a part of the fetish community since 1996.  In 2004 I decided to become a dedicated tightlacer and began my process of daily tightlacing with a goal of radical waist reduction to change my shape through constant waist training.   I began with a natural 31" waist in the spring of 2004, and by the spring of 2009 had reached a waist size of 19" measured inside of the corset.  My experience as a daily dedicated tightlacer means that I know a great deal about corsetry and tightlacing in a very personal way.  My need for better fitted, stronger, and lighter weight corsets pressed me to manufacture my own designs to get the quality I demanded and the shape I required.   I strive to create innovative ideas into my corset designs that would not be found in the work of other corset designers, while keeping my work in the tradition of the very best corset makers that have come before me.  Every Contour Corset is hand made by Yours Truly to order for each individual customer.  There are no mass produced, outsourced, or pre-manufactured corsets here.  Every customer has their own unique shape, and as such I draft a unique pattern for every customer that is their very own.

 

To make truly custom corsets means that each pattern I make is drafted directly from the individual customer's measurements. The fabric or material you choose for your Contour Corset is cut from this pattern, and most tightlacing corsets are made from two layers with a strong cotton core, reinforced waist, and decorative outer shell.  Summertime corsets are for warm weather wear and are light and breath very well, and are great for those who have already achieved their goal size and are not reducing.  My standard tightlacing corsets are inherently stronger and more inflexible and are better for times of reduction or waist training where greater pressures are used for conforming the ribcage, and if one is achieving radical reduction, redirecting the colon and digestive tract to the proper position.   Fran's Little Sewing Shop: 114 Crockett Road King of Prussia, PA  19406 (610) 265-5367 Missy the corset cat approves a pattern.
